Message From Our Chapter President:

Samantha Schosberg Feuer

Dear Fawl Members,

I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer. Whether you are working on settling those cases that have been sitting on your desk, taking vacations with your family, catching up on your billable hours, or relaxing by the pool (don’t we wish?), I hope sending in your FAWL application is at the top of your “To Do” list. Our board is spending the summer planning a wide variety of events for our members next year.  Some of those events include, but are certainly not limited to, Luncheons on topics such as: social media and time management, E-discovery; Joint Happy Hours with the Young Lawyers Section of the Palm Beach County Bar and Martin County FAWL; and practice area specific Mentoring lunches in the fields of family law, mediation and personal injury.

It is no secret that mentoring, leadership and networking play key roles in any lawyer’s success. FAWL is committed to providing programming that is designed to assist, support and promote these aspects for advancement of women in the Palm Beach County legal community.  It is your membership that helps us ensure that all women lawyers get a seat at the table.  I hope you have taken a moment to send in your FAWL application for the 2010-2011 year.  If you haven’t turned in your application, there is still time! Please go to www.pbcfawl.org and return the application to FAWL as soon as possible so that your renewal membership is effective immediately or your new membership begins. If you return your membership application by August 14, 2010 you will receive your own engraved FAWL nametag.

We are looking forward to an excellent upcoming year, but we can’t start without you! I look forward to receiving your membership application soon and seeing you at many of our upcoming events.

Get a seat at the table!

Best,

Samantha Schosberg Feuer
President, Palm Beach County FAWL
